Products I received this week:

I'm really excited to start showing you guys some of the items that are available to you! Here is what I got!

First thing I got in the mail was a coupon from johnsons for a free take along pack. This included baby lotion, baby powder, shampoo, oil penaten cream and nursing pads. I didn't take anything except for the items themselves out of their packages as this is something I want to show new moms when I meet them in person as to what's available. I find this is fantastic as without the coupon (which was free and is likely still available on the johnsons website!) costs about $6 at shoppers, and probably around the same for other locations. This is great to bring in a diaper bag if you plan to stay a long period of time somewhere or great to leave at grandmas house. I recommend this completely as these are essential items that will come in handy when it's needed! The only thing it's missing is some travel diapers!

The next thing I got in the mail was some samples from premama and a $3 coupon. I went out to check if I can purchase this in store but couldn't find it at loblaws, shoppers nor rexall. When I went online it turns out its available at CVS, target or Amazon. I can't use my coupon online. If you're in Toronto, I believe there's a CVS located in your area. However, not convenient if you're in the Ottawa area. I miss target already.. Sigh. I emailed them about this issue so we'll see if they can send me my $3 via a promo code for their online website. The product ranges from $14-$17 but I believe carries a big variety of them in each box.  They also have some for fertility, prenatal and lactation vitamins so it's great all around. Here's what I can say about them. I received two in the mail, one was for prenatal and the other was prenatal plus DHA. I tried the DHA one first,
Now if you like orange-y taste, this is actually nice. It's sweet, but not overwhelming.. The consistency is close to Metamucil but tastes a lot better! I also don't think I mixed it properly and with enough water. I liked this as we all know how prenatal vitamins are big and hard to swallow, especially for women who gag easily during pregnancy, this works amazingly for that. You're still getting the essentials you need but while slowly drinking! (But maybe not good on your bladder! If you're already running to the washroom often, maybe avoid this one haha).
The next was the prenatal one,
I missed this one better and had a lot more water. I brought it to work on the go! This one I didn't like as much as the DHA. It has no taste but you can tell it's a different consistency. When it comes to smell, there's nothing so perhaps this is great for early pregnancy when smells are strong and turn you away. I didn't like that it looked like the colour of pee, and had the taste of water. Wasn't my thing, but I can get why mothers would rather this to pill form! I recommend this for sure if you like the drink rather than the pill. I'm sure the sample is still available on their website, if not, maybe email them about ordering it yourself!

Happy pregnancy!
